Please Make Sure Your Account Has Been Activated for Email Access - Error Message in my.utrgv.edu Portal

You may see the error below if you have accessed another Microsoft account, besides your UTRGV account, (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, etc) via your web browser.

Remediation

  • Log out of the other Microsoft account and close all browser windows.  Then, you should be able to re-open a browser window and access your UTRGV account through the https://my.utrgv.edu portal.
  • If you still see the error, please clear your browser cache.  Then, close all browser windows and try again. 

Note: You must have a valid student status or be a current employee to access email.
