Forward Calls from Your Cisco Desk Phone

You can forward incoming calls to another number directly from your Cisco desk phone.

 

Dialing from On Campus

Enter the forwarding number exactly as you would normally dial it:

  • Local: 9 + 7-digit number
  • Long distance: 9 + 1 + area code + 7-digit number

 

Cisco 7800 Series (7821, 7841, 7861)

  • Forward calls: Press Forward (or Fwd All), then enter the number
  • Cancel forwarding: Press Forward Off (or Clr Fwd)

 

Cisco 8800 Series

  • If you have multiple lines, select the line you want to forward
  • Forward calls: Press Forward All, then enter the number
  • Cancel forwarding: Press Forward Off

 

Cisco 7900 Series (7942, 7962)

  • Forward calls: Press CFwdAll, enter the number, then press Accept
  • Cancel forwarding: Ensure the handset is on-hook, then press CFwdAll

 

Additional Notes

  • A forwarding indicator will appear on the screen when enable
