Knowbe4 - Security Awareness Training Emails

You may receive an email with the subject line “You’ve been enrolled in security awareness training” from the Information Security Office (is@utrgv.edu). This email notifies you that you have been assigned required security awareness training through KnowBe4.

If you received this message, it is a legitimate UTRGV email. KnowBe4 is the platform used by the university to deliver cybersecurity awareness training and help users recognize and respond appropriately to phishing emails and other security threats.

Email notification stating “You’ve been enrolled in security awareness training” from the Information Security Office, instructing recipients to complete assigned KnowBe4 training modules.

Additional reminder emails will be sent until the assigned KnowBe4 training modules are completed.
