Titanium – Access and Installation

Titanium is a specialized scheduling application used by UTRGV Counseling Services, Psychological Services, and SRSC Wellness areas. This application is only available on UTRGV-managed computers and cannot be installed on personal or off-campus devices.

 

Request Access

Access must be requested before using Titanium. Submit an Access Request form and ensure the following selections are made:

  • Category: All
  • Resource: Select the appropriate Titanium instance

Note: Employees who experience a break in employment (such as CPAFs) may need to submit a new access request.

 

Application Installation

Once access has been approved, Titanium may be installed on a university-owned computer. 

Submit a Service Request and include the computer asset tag. The request will be routed to the appropriate IT team for review and installation.

 

Remote Access

To access Titanium from off campus, you must first connect your off-campus computer to the UTRGV network using GlobalProtect VPN.

After establishing a VPN connection, you can connect to an on-campus computer using Remote Desktop and launch Titanium as you would on campus.

Important: The campus computer must be powered on, and you must have previously logged into that computer where Titanium is already installed and accessible to you.

 

Need Help?

If you receive an access or permission error when connecting, you may need to be added to the Remote Desktop Users group on the campus computer. This access must be granted locally on the computer.
