There are very limited Microsoft Visio and Planner licenses. If the license is not routinely used, it may be rescinded.
UTRGV Currently Does NOT have Licenses for Microsoft Project
Request Access
The requester must submit an access request.
- Category: IT Resources
- Resource: Microsoft Visio or Microsoft Planner
- Description: Enter justification and any other desired notes.
After submitting the request, the requester must approve the End User License Agreement (EULA) notification sent to their email address.
Install the Application
After the access request has been approved and processed, the application must be installed from Office365.
- Click on this link (if prompted, sign in).
- If the license was configured, you should see the needed application listed under Apps & devices.
- Select the bit version. The bit version must match your Microsoft Office installation which is likely 32-bit.
- Click on the Install button to begin downloading the software.
- The executable will download to your Downloads folder. Once the software has been downloaded, right-click on the file and select Show in folder (if using Internet Explorer, click on Open folder).
- Run the executable and follow all prompts to install the software using CyberArk.
- Follow the Installation Wizard prompts to complete the software installation.
