File Share - Request Access to An Existing Network

To request access to an EXISTING UTRGV file share, submit a "Get Access" request form. This expedites your request by ensuring all needed information is obtained upfront and routes it to the correct approvers and technical team. 

• Access the Get Access request form.
• Click on Request Access.
• Complete the request form:
  • Category -  IT Resources 
  • Resource - File Share(s) 
  • Description - Enter:
  • Path of the file share (e.g., \\utrgv\myshares\*****)
  • Role:  Read-only or edit rights
  • Justification.
• Click on Request.
