Panopto is a new video hosting platform that allows faculty to create lecture recording, screen casting, live video streaming, and video content management within Blackboard. It also allows students to create video assignments, join a live streaming and review lecture recordings.

With Panopto, you can:
- Easily record videos on Windows, Mac, and iOS.
- Create interactive video quizzes and sync grades with Blackboard.
- Create student video submission assignments.
- Upload existing video and audio files.
- Easily embed videos within Blackboard.
- Import auto-generated captions.
Access
Access to this service is automatically granted to UTRGV Students and Faculty.
- Sign in to my.utrgv.edu
- Click on Blackboard.
- Open a course.
- Select Panopto Media from the sidebar menu (students), or under the Course Tools (faculty)
