Integrate interactive video quizzes into your Brightspace course to boost engagement and assess understanding. Learn how to connect Panopto quizzes seamlessly with the gradebook, providing an effective way to track student performance and enhance their learning experience.
In this article, we will go through the step-by-step process for embedding a Panopto video quiz directly into your Brightspace modules or assignments.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- 1. Prepare a Panopto video that includes a quiz. Refer to the above instructions on how to add a quiz to a video.
- 2. In the course, navigate to the Content section.
- 3. Open the unit to which you want to add a Panopto quiz. At the top of the unit, select Add Existing
- 4. On the page What would you like to add?, select More
- 5. In the window that appears, select Panopto Quiz
- 6. Select the preferred grading style, Grade on % Viewed or Grade on Quiz Results. Then click on Continue.
- 7. In the window that appears, select the quiz video and select Insert.
- 8. The Panopto quiz will appear under its corresponding unit in the left-hand navigation. Once selected, the Panopto video will appear embedded in the right-hand side of the page. Students in the course can select it, watch the video, take any quizzes in the video, and the quizzes will be reported to the grade book for the class.
- 9. To add a due date for the quiz, as well as edit its title or adjust its availability dates, select the three dots in the upper right corner of the quiz, and select Edit
- 10. In the Edit window, you can adjust the Name, add a Due Date, adjust the Display Option to be either an embedded video or to have the video open in a new window, and adjust the Availability Dates.
