How to Publish a Quiz into Your Course

Introduction:

This support article will help guide you on how to publish your exam into your course using the Respondus 4.0 Test Generator.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. 1. Select Preview + Publish.
  2. 2. Select Publish.
  3. 3. Select Publish Wizard.
  4.  
  5. Following steps 1 to three: select Preview & Publish, Select Publish, and Click Publish to Wizard
  6.  
  7. 4.Select "Publish to single course" or "Publish to multiple courses."
  8.  
  9. Type of publish: "Publish to Single Course", "Batch Publish to multiple courses", "Export QTI XML for manual upload to Brightspace"
  10.  
  11. 5.Select your Brightspace server if it's not already selected.
  12. 6. Select the course where you want the test uploaded.
  13. 7. Select "Create new quiz" and name it.
  14. 8. Apply any of the additional settings.
  15. 9. Click Next.

  17. Follow steps 5-9

  19. 11. Click Finish once it's done uploading.

Select "Finish" to publish to server(s)

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • •Make sure there are no errors in the file.
  • •  Review your imported quiz in Brightspace, review questions, and apply any quiz settings that you require.
  • •  When importing quizzes into your Brightspace course, it is recommended to limit each quiz to a maximum of 500 questions to ensure optimal performance and system stability.
