Brightspace Student Content Experiences (Lessons)

This article pertains to users participating in the Brightspace Pilot program during the Spring 2025 semester.

Introduction:

In the Lessons interface, the course's table of contents is organized as a tree structure, making navigation simple and intuitive. Tiles with additional course components feature arrow icons, indicating they can be expanded with a click. When you hover over a component, a tooltip appears, providing helpful context if the full heading is too long to display. Each type of material is marked with a unique icon, allowing for easy visual identification.

  • 1. Click a module to expand and review content.
  • 2. Download: Download the content as a PDF.
  • 3. Open with docReader: Click to open the text with ReadSpeaker and have the content read to you.
  • 4. Click to expand your content into full screen.
