Re-Link Broken Question Pools

Introduction:

Quizzes in Blackboard that utilize Question Pools may need to be reconnected in Brightspace following migration. Below are the steps to verify whether your quiz pool requires reconnection after migration and how to fix the issue if needed.

Issue:

• You may notice that the title of the Question Pool appears as "Random Selection" and that "From" is set to zero.

Resolution:

1. 1. Navigate to the "Quizzes" tab through the "Activities tab on the Navbar.

a. Click the "drop-down arrow"

b. Click "Edit"

1. 4. Click "Browse Question Library"

a. Search the question pool title that corresponds to the current question pool.

b. Select the question pool set marked with a "checkbox."

c. Click "Import"

a. You may rename the question pool title with the correct title

b. You will notice the "from # of questions" populated, indicating the pool imported successfully
