Introduction:
A banner image on the course homepage will draw attention to the course with an image rather than text only. When choosing a banner, it should be a wide image to display well. A tall or square image will be significantly cropped.
Note: The recommended course banner dimensions are 1170 x 200 pixels minimum or a higher resolution.
Adding a Course Banner Image:
- 1. Access your course.
- 2. Hover over the course banner image.
- 3. Click on the three dots and select Change Image.
- 4. You may search for a specific image and select a picture from the stock images available in Brightspace.
- 5. Alternatively, you may upload a custom image from your computer by selecting the Upload button.
- 6. Complete the additional steps to select or upload a new course banner image.
Important: By default, the course banner image you set will be applied to all unit thumbnails. Please allow some time for this change to take effect. See the sample below:
