W.W. Norton provides interactive learning tools such as InQuizitive, Smartwork, and Norton Ebooks, which may be integrated into your Brightspace courses. This guide will help you get started and troubleshoot common issues.

Accessing Norton Tools in Brightspace:

  1. 1. Log into Brightspace and navigate to your course.
  2. 2. Look for links or modules labeled InQuizitive, Smartwork, or Norton Ebook.
  3. 3. Click the link to launch the Norton tool. You may be prompted to:
  4. 4. Register or log in to your Norton account.
  5. 5. Enter a Student Set ID (provided by your instructor) if required.

Using InQuizitive:

InQuizitive is an adaptive learning tool that helps reinforce course concepts.

Getting Started:

  • You can access InQuizitive in three ways:
    • Registration Code (included with some Norton textbooks)
    • Online Purchase
    • Trial Access (valid for 3 weeks)

Joining Your Instructor’s Section:

  • Your instructor may provide a Student Set ID.
  • To enter it:
    1. Click the account icon in the top-right corner of InQuizitive.
    2. Select “Add Yourself to a Student Set.”
    3. Enter the Student Set ID.

If your course is fully integrated with Brightspace, you may not need a Student Set ID—your grades will sync automatically.
