How to access your TRUE+WAY ASL Digital Textbook

Introduction:

True+Way ASL (TWA) is an interactive curriculum designed to help you learn American Sign Language in a visual and engaging way. If your instructor is using TWA in your course, follow these steps to access the materials:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. 1. Access your Brightspace course.
  2. 2. Click on the TRUE+WAY ASL eWorkbook module/unit from the course menu.
  3. True+Way ASL
  4. 3. Click on Sign Up.  You’ll see the following on your screen:
  5. Sign up
  6. 4. Click on the checkbox, then click on either Enter Access Code or Make Payment.
  • If you purchased your access code from the bookstore, that means you have access codes!  Press Enter Access Code.  Type the code you received from your teacher (usually for high schools) or from your bookstore (usually for colleges).
  • If you prefer to pay using a credit or debit card, please press Make Payment.
  1. 5. After you’ve completed the access code/payment process, go back to your course. You’ll see What's the Sign? ™ link appears under the Sign Up link as well as additional TRUE+WAY ASL modules.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • •Accessing your Textbook - Some of you may be wondering where your TRUE+WAY ASL textbook is.  We know this concept is strange, but your TRUE+WAY ASL textbook is actually already inside your course!
  • •Link not working? - Try clearing your browser cache or switching to a different browser (Google Chrome recommended).
