Introduction:
This support article outlines the process for deleting externally linked assignments in Brightspace.
Important Note: While this method does work with deleting graded external linked assignments, as a best practice, it is strongly recommended to communicate with your students and document any scores or submissions if necessary before deleting graded content.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- 1. In your course, click "Content".

2. Select the module where your assignment is located.

3. Select your external linked assignment.

- Important Note: External-linked assignments are those that utilize third-party tools compatible with Brightspace. Examples of third-party tools include Panopto, H5P, and Hypothesis.
-
- 4. Click "Options".

5. Click "Delete".

6. Click the "Permanently delete both the topic from Content and the associated file or activity from the course." field.
