Introduction
Faculty and Staff can request a course development shell, also known as a sandbox, which is an empty course within our Learning Management System (LMS), Brightspace.
This is used to develop content without affecting a live course. You can also request course templates to help with the development of your course. For more information on available templates, please visit our Course Templates article.
Steps to Request
Note: Who is eligible to use it?
- Faculty, Staff, Organization Leaders
The requester is responsible for initiating the request. Submit a General "Create Case" request through the COLTT support portal at utrgv.edu/coltthelp.
- Requestor information.
- Development Course/Organization Name.
- Detailed Description – Explain what the Development shell will be used for.
