Submit or Approve Bulletins to UTRGV Messenger

The UTRGV Messenger is used to post university announcements.  Log in with your UTRGV credentials.

Submit a Bulletin

From the Create a Bulletin tab, complete all fields, select a category, and click on Show Preview.  After reviewing, click on Submit.

This is a great way to share and invite the UTRGV community to university-related events. Post upcoming concerts, plays, sports, etc. 

Heads Up

Ideal for posting upcoming deadlines, IT downtimes, alerts, campus or parking lot closures, etc. 


The Kudos section is a perfect place to share divisional or departmental accomplishments with the UTRGV community.

Policies and Processes

Announce new or changes to policies and processes to UTRGV community.


Invite the UTRGV community to upcoming training, workshops or conferences.

Approve a Bulletin

  1. From the top menu, click Manage Bulletins.
  2. From the list, select a bulletin pending review.
  3. Click Review.
  4. Review the Preview of the bulletin for errors and to ensure compliance.
  5. Select an Option for the bulletin.
    1. Edit - As an approver, you can edit the bulletin yourself -OR- you can reject it and have it go back to the Bulletin Creator for editing.
    2. Approve - Approve the bulletin as it appears.
    3. Reject - Reject the bulletin. If you reject the bulletin, you must provide a reason for the rejection in the Please Confirm window.
    4. Go Back - Takes you back to Manage Bulletins list.

Copy an Approved Bulletin

  1. Click My Bulletins 
  2. Search for the bulletin you want to copy.
  3. Click the Copy button.
  4. Make the changes you want to the copy of the bulletin (title, summary, dates, locations, etc.). 
  5. Select CategoryApprover GroupStart DateEnd Date, and Audience.
  6. Click Submit.
