Web Browser - Change Home Page

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Click Tools (gear icon at top-right corner).
  2. Click Internet options.
  3. Click on  General tab.
  4. Click Start with home page.
  5. Click on the text and make desired edits to edit an existing entry.
  6. Hit enter and type (or cute and paste) the address of the desired home page to create a new entry.
    • Note: If multiple home page entries exist, all pages will open by default.
  7. Cick on the Use current button if you want to use the pages currently open on your browser. 
  8. Click Apply, then click on OK.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click More (3 horizontal dots at top-right corner), select Settings.
  2. Under the Open with dropdown menu, select A specific page or pages.
  3. To edit an existing entry, double click on the text and make desired edits.
  4. Click on the disk icon to save your edits.
  5. To create a new entry, click on + Add New Page.
  6. Type (or cut and paste) the path of desired home page in the Enter a web address field.
    • Note: If multiple home page entries exist, all pages will open by default
  7. Click on the disk icon to save your edits.

Google Chrome

  1. Click Menu (3 vertical dots at top right corner)
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the On Startup section.
  4. Click on Manage Startup Pages
  5. Select A specific page or set of pages.
  6. To edit an existing entry, click on the 3 vertical dots (to the right of the entry).
  7. Select Edit.
  8. Make desired edits, and click on Save.
  9. To create a new entry, click on Add a new page.
  10. Type (or cut and paste) desired address and click on Add.
    • Note: If multiple home page entries exist, all pages will open by default.
  11. Click Use current pages to set all currently open tabs as your home pages. 

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click Settings (3 vertical stripes and the top right corner).
  2. Click Options.
  3. Under the When Firefox starts dropdown menu, select Show your home page.
  4. Type (or cut and paste) desired address.
  5. Cick on the Use current button if you want to use the page currently open on your browser.

Apple Safari

  1. From the Safari Menu, click Preferences.
  2. Click General Tab.
  3. In the Home Page section, enter desired webpage.
  4. Close the Preferences window.
