ASSIST - How to Obtain an Unofficial or Official Transcript

Unofficial Transcripts

Note: The steps below apply only to UTRGV students. Legacy UTPA and UTB students must follow the instructions for requesting an official transcript.

Steps to View or Download an Unofficial Transcript:

1. Log in to my.utrgv.edu
2. From the Applications section, select ASSIST.
3. Select the Student Profile tab.
4. Click Academic Record.
5. Choose the appropriate Transcript Level and Transcript Type to view your unofficial transcript.

Download or Print an Unofficial Transcript

1. With the transcript open, select Print from your web browser menu.
   • Alternatively, you can right‑click on the transcript and select Print, or press Ctrl + P on your keyboard.
2. Under Destination/Printer, select Save as PDF.
3. Select Save.
4. Browse to the desired location on your computer, rename the file if needed, and select Save again.
5. Open the saved PDF file and print as needed.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts must be requested through UTRGV’s official transcript request process.
This applies to:

• UTRGV students requesting official transcripts
• Legacy UTB and UTPA students
