UTRGV managed computers utilize the Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Outlook. Therefore, a Teams meeting link is automatically added to new meeting invitations.
Disable automatic generation of teams meeting links
Windows
- From the installed Outlook application, select:
- File (top left)
- Options (bottom of left navigation menu)
- Calendar
- Uncheck the Add online meeting to all meetings option.
- OK button (bottom right)

MAC
- Select Outlook from the top menu toolbar. Then, select:
- Preferences
- Calendar
- From the Calendar Options section, select the Configure button.

- On the resulting window, uncheck the Add online meeting to all meetings option.
- Save button

This change will sync to Outlook online as well.
