Engage your students with dynamic video assignments using Panopto in Brightspace, and empower learners to showcase their creativity while leveraging Panopto’s seamless integration with Brightspace for streamlined submission and grading.
This article provides a step-by-step process for setting up a Panopto video assignment, from enabling Panopto in your course to creating the assignment and sharing submission instructions with your students.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- 1. Log into Brightspace and open the course you want to add a Panopto video assignment to, and select Assignments from the Activities drop-down menu.
- 2. At the top of the Assignments page, select New Assignment.
- 3. Fill out the New Assignment information as you would for any other assignment in Brightspace; however, make sure that under Submission Type, you select Text Submission before selecting Save and Close.
