Introduction:
This guide will walk you through how to access and use Stukent resources within your Brightspace course. Your instructor may be using Stukent's simulations, courseware, or other materials to enhance your learning experience. Follow the steps below to get started.
Accessing Stukent Content:
There are typically a few ways your instructor might integrate Stukent content into your Brightspace course. Here's what you might encounter:
- 1. Direct Links within Modules:
- Navigate to the specific content module in your Brightspace course where the Stukent assignment is located.
- Look for a link with a title similar to the Stukent activity (e.g., "Mimic Social Media Simulation," "Principles of Marketing Courseware").
- Click on this link. It will usually open the Stukent resource in a new tab or window.
- 2. External Learning Tools (LTI) Links:
- Your instructor might have embedded Stukent through Brightspace's "External Learning Tools" feature.
- These links might appear as icons or specific assignment titles within your course modules.
- Clicking on these links will redirect you to the Stukent platform.
- 3. Grades Area:
- Sometimes, a link to a Stukent assignment might also be available within your Brightspace Grades area. Look for an assignment that indicates it's a Stukent activity.
Troubleshooting Tips:
The first time you access a Stukent link from Brightspace, you will likely need to link your Brightspace account with your Stukent account (or create a new one).
- 1. Click the Stukent Link: Follow the steps in the "Accessing Stukent Content" section above.
- 2. Account Linking/Creation:
- Existing Stukent Account: If you've used Stukent in another course, you might be prompted to log in with your existing Stukent username and password.
- New Stukent Account: If this is your first time using Stukent, you will likely be asked to create a new account. Follow the on-screen instructions, which usually involve providing your name, email address (it's often pre-filled with your Brightspace email), and creating a password.
- License Key (if required): In some cases, your instructor might provide a specific license key. You will be prompted to enter this key during the account creation or linking process. Ensure you enter it correctly.
- 3. Authorization: You might be asked to authorize Brightspace to share some of your information with Stukent. Click "Authorize" or "Accept" to proceed.
Getting Support:
- • Your Instructor: Your instructor is your first point of contact for questions about specific Stukent assignments, deadlines, or grading policies.
- •Stukent Support: For technical issues with the Stukent platform itself (e.g., login problems, content not loading), you can usually find a "Support" or "Help" section within the Stukent interface. Stukent often provides FAQs, tutorials, and contact information for their support team.
