Pre-Installation Instructions:
- For SPSS to be installed off and on campus, Global Protect will need to be installed on the computer prior to the installation. Please see the linked articles below on how to install Global Protect for your personal machine.
- In order to use SPSS on and off campus make sure to click "Connect" in Global Protect prior to opening the SPSS application.
GlobalProtect On Demand VPN for Windows
Log into my.utrgv.edu
Click > Help & Downloads > SPSS > Windows > SPSS_Amos_28 > Info > Download.
In File Explorer click “Extract All” to extract the contents within the folder.
Double click on “SPSS_Amos_28” > Next > I accept > Next > Install Program.
For UTRGV and Personal laptops only, please make sure Global Protect shows as “Connected”.
Search “IBM SPSS Amos 28 License Authorization Wizard” (search bar of computer) > Next > Concurrent User License > Type, “lm-spss.ad.utrgv.edu” > Next > Finish.
Search “IBM SPSS Amos 28 Graphics” in search bar of computer and the program is ready to use.
