How To Install SPSS Amos

Pre-Installation Instructions:

  • For SPSS to be installed off and on campus, Global Protect will need to be installed on the computer prior to the installation. 
  • In order to use SPSS on and off campus make sure to click "Connect" in Global Protect prior to opening the SPSS application. 

 

Installation Instructions:

  • Click SPSS > Windows > SPSS_Amos_28

  • Click on Info, then on Download.

  • In File Explorer click “Extract All” to extract the contents within the folder.

  • Double click on “SPSS_Amos_28” > Next > I accept > Next > Install Program.

Please make sure Global Protect shows as “Connected” if you are using a laptop.

  • Search “IBM SPSS Amos 28 License Authorization Wizard” (search bar of computer)

  • Click Next and select Concurrent User License

  • Type, “lm-spss.ad.utrgv.edu” > Next > Finish.

  • Search “IBM SPSS Amos 28 Graphics” in search bar of computer and Open.
