How to Copy Course Units/Folders with Panopto Videos in Brightspace

When copying a folder or unit that contains embedded Panopto videos from one course to another, be sure to select both the specific content you wish to copy and the associated external learning tool links. This ensures that all video resources are transferred correctly and remain accessible in the new course.

Step-by-Step Instructions to copy specific content(Embedded Panopto videos):

1. 1. Access your course.
2. 2. Click on Course Admin.
3. 3. Click on Import/Export/Copy Components.
4. 4. Select the Copy Components from another Org Unit option and click on Search for offering.
5. 5. Search for the course that contains the content that you would like to copy.
6. 6. Select the course and click on Add Selected.
7. 7. Click on Select Components.
8. 8.  Select the individual items to copy from the Content and External Learning Tool Links sections.

10. 9. Select the specific content that you want to copy, ex. Lecture Videos folder/unit.
    
11. 10. Select the External Learning Tool Links to copy.

13. 11. Click on Continue to proceed with the course copy.
14. 12. Click on Finish to proceed with the course copy.
15. 13. Review all embedded videos to ensure they play correctly and without issues.
