vSoftware

vSoftware offers free or discounted Microsoft Windows operating systems and VMware software for students faculty and staff for personal use.  The software is available in electronic format only. It is recommended that you back up your software download and note your product key in a secure location for future use.

To obtain software from vSoftware

1. Log in to my.utrgv.edu.
2. Click the vSoftware icon under Applications.
3. Click on the Start Shopping button.  Then, click on the Microsoft or VMWare tab or search for a product.
4. Add items to your Shopping Cart.
5. Click on the Shopping Cart when done shopping.
6. Click Check Out.
7. Accept and Sign the License Agreement.
8. Complete Checkout process.
9. Download and Install the software.
10. Save any provided Product Key for your records.
    • NOTE: It is recommended that you back up your software download and keep your product key in a secure location for future use.
