Categories Available

All bulletins must be assigned a category, which helps organize content and allows users to find information of interest faster. When posting to UTRGV Messenger, select the most relevant option from the following categories:

  • Events - Inform and invite the UTRGV community to university-related events (i.e., concerts, plays, athletics, performances, exhibitions, etc.)

  • Around Campus - Post about opportunities to participate in research, surveys, contests, volunteering, etc.

  • Policies and Procedures - Announce new or updated policies, processes, and/or procedures affecting the UTRGV community.

  • Training and Workshops - Share information about upcoming training, workshops, or conferences.

  • Safety and Health – Update the campus community about health/safety initiatives and medical news/events.

  • Newsletters - Broadcast your division, college, or department newsletter with a broader audience instead of clogging email listservs and inboxes.
