Computer Refresh Program Exception Request

What Is It?

This one-time request permits departments to request computer equipment that deviates from the standard specification currently being provided to the University. 

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Faculty, Staff

Steps to Request

  1. Title: Provide a brief title or description for the issue you’re encountering.
  2. Email of Requestor: Enter your email address so that support can follow up with you.
  3. Contact Number: Share a phone number where you can be reached.
  4. Current UTRGV Computer Tag: Locate the unique identifier (usually a sticker or label) on your computer.
  5. Mac or Windows?: Determine whether your computer is a Mac or a Windows machine.
  6. Age of Computer: Check if your computer is over 6 years old.
  7. Windows 11 Compatibility: Verify if your computer meets the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11.
