PREP PDF REmediation Platform Training and Access Requirements

Overview

This training article explains the requirements users must complete before requesting access to the PREP PDF REmediation Platform. The platform supports PDF accessibility remediation and helps departments manage document accessibility work more consistently.

 

Training Requirements

1. Complete the PREP PDF REmediation Platform Training Series

Before requesting a license, learners must complete all three PREP training sessions:

2. Submit the Department Accessibility Compliance Plan

After completing the required training series, the department must upload its Accessibility Compliance Plan (ACP) to the Accessibility Compliance Plan channel in the Digital Accessibility MS Teams site.

NOTE: Keep the plan active and up to date so the department can track remediation progress and support accessibility reporting and dashboard updates.

 

Request Access After Training

Once the training requirements and compliance plan submission are complete, submit a Get Access Request and use the following selections:

License Availability

PREP PDF REmediation Platform licenses are limited and issued based on availability. To help ensure licenses are assigned appropriately, request access ONLY after completing the full required PREP training series and submitting the department’s Accessibility Compliance Plan (ACP).
