Zoom is an online video and audio-conferencing platform that makes it easy to hold impromptu or scheduled one-to-one or group meetings, teach online courses, conduct online training, and host webinars.

Access

Access to this service is automatically granted to active UTRGV students, faculty, and staff.

  1. Go to utrgv.zoom.us.
  2. Click Sign in to configure your account.
  3. Enter your UTRGV username and password on the UTRGV Online Services Login page for Zoom.
    • NOTE: First-time users may be prompted to download the Zoom client (Recommended).
  4. Click Sign In.

Your profile page will appear. Here you can:

  • Schedule a New Meeting
  • Join a meeting
  • Host a meeting

Access to this service is automatically granted to active UTRGV students, faculty, and staff.

  1. Start Zoom Desktop app.
  2. Click Sign In with SSO.
  3. Enter utrgv.zoom.us when prompted for the company domain.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Enter your UTRGV username and password on the UTRGV Online Services Login page for Zoom.

Here you can:

  • Schedule a New Meeting
  • Join a meeting
  • Host a meeting

Licensed Zoom Accounts

Licensed Zoom accounts provide additional features such as unlimited meeting duration and larger participant capacities. To request a licensed Zoom account, please contact the IT Service Desk at 956-665-2020, via email at itservicedesk@utrgv.edu, or request to chat with a live agent. This process must be handled manually by an IT Service Desk representative. Please note that you must be a current UTRGV employee or student and provide a valid reason for the upgrade request.
