Introduction:
The Awards tool in Brightspace allows you to view, download, and share merit-based achievements granted by your instructor. Awards can be Badges or Certificates, and each represents a milestone or accomplishment during your course. Certificates also include a downloadable PDF version for official recognition.

Sharing Awards
- 1. Access the Awards tool.
- 2. Locate the award you want to share.
- 3. (Optional) Uncheck Include awards from other courses to filter results.
- 4. Click Share under the award.

- 5.Choose a sharing option:
- Share to User Profile
- Share to ePortfolio (If applicable)
- Create Link (for a public URL) (If applicable)

- 6. If sharing to a public link, click Copy Link and share it with others. (If applicable)
Removing a Shared Award
- 1. Access the Awards tool.
- 2. Locate the award you want to remove from your shared location.
- 3. Click Share under the award.

- 4. Choose the removal option:
- Remove from Profile
- Remove from ePortfolio (If applicable)

- 5. The award will no longer be visible in that location.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- • If you cannot see the Awards tool in your course navigation, your instructor may have disabled it.
- •If a certificate will not download:
- Try using Google Chrome or another supported browser.
- Disable pop-up blockers temporarily.
- • If you receive an error when generating a certificate, contact your instructor to verify that it has been officially issued.
- • Awards are course-specific unless you select Include awards from other courses.
