Ungraded essay or written-response questions in Brightspace temporarily affect your total quiz score and can change which grades are dropped. Once all manual grading is complete, Brightspace automatically recalculates your total and adjusts dropped grades correctly.
The Awards tool in Brightspace lets you view, download, and share badges and certificates earned in your courses. Certificates can be saved as PDFs, and awards can be displayed on your profile, ePortfolio, or through a public link. You can also remove awards from shared locations at any time.
This guide explains how students can access, complete, and submit surveys in Brightspace. Surveys are designed for feedback only, may be anonymous, and do not impact grades. Instructors may choose to share survey results with students through the Reports option.
