Step-by-Step Instructions
- Access your course and navigate to your Discussion board, Activities, and Discussions.
- Locate your forum and click on the topic of your discussion to post a response.
- Start a New Thread, enter a subject line, and navigate to the toolbar in Post*.
- In the toolbar, locate and click on the Insert Stuff icon (triangle, two bars, outlined circle, and square).

- In the Insert Stuff options, click on Panopto Student Video Submission 1.3.

- In the Panopto Student Video Submission 1.3, we recommend uploading an existing video from your device or recording your video through here.
- If you created a Panopto video in your personal folder, you can click on the title of your [assignments] folder and select My Folder in the Choose option. Learn how to access your Panopto account in the How do I login to Panopto? article. Review the image below as an example for the My Folder:

- After choosing, uploading, or recording your video, click on Next or Insert.
- Once the video is embedded, click on Post to upload your response to the discussion post.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If you are using the Panopto Capture, it is recommended to ensure you are on Google Chrome or Firefox and have the correct permissions enabled for the camera and microphone.
- If your classmates or instructor are having trouble viewing your video, ensure the share settings are set to unlisted and not restricted.
