Report a Phishing Email Using Outlook

Body

Learn how to identify phishing scams by visiting the UTRGV Information Security – Spam and Phishing Resources.

Why Use the Report Message Feature?

The Report Message feature allows you to safely report potentially malicious emails to UTRGV Information Security for review. When you report a phishing email, it is removed from your inbox to reduce the risk of accidental interaction.

Using the Report Message button also provides Information Security staff with important technical details, such as email headers and message attributes. These details may be lost if the email is simply forwarded to the IT Service Desk.
