What Is It?

To reimage a computer or remove old user profiles, please submit an IT service request. The request will be routed to your supervisor for approval.

Steps to Request

  1. Select the blue Request Service button on this page.
  2. Title: Begin by providing a descriptive title for the request.
  3. Email of Requestor: Enter the email address of the person making the request.
  4. Contact Number: Include a phone number where the requestor can be reached.
  5. Building Code: Specify the building code where the computer is located. Room: Indicate the room number where the computer is situated.
  6. UTRGV Asset Tag Number: Enter the unique asset tag number assigned to the computer.
  7. Remove Old User Profiles or Re-image Computer: State whether you want to remove old user profiles or perform a complete re-imaging of the computer.
  8. User Files to Keep: Specify which user files need to be retained.
  9. Justification: Provide a brief reason or justification for the request.
  10. Confirm Backup to OneDrive: Ensure that all critical files are backed up to OneDrive before proceeding.
