Newer Mac computers with the M1 processor require logging in to FileVault with your identifier upon power-up or restart. Newer Mac computers display a single username and password combination on the login page. (Older Mac computers display a list of users on the login screen and accept your UTRGV email address as the username).
Enter your UTRGV identifier [abc123 format] and your password at the login screen.
Note: A profile must have been previously added to the computer in order for a user to login.
