Course Restore Options

Introduction:

This support article outlines the course restoration options available to UTRGV faculty.

Archived Courses Available:

  • K16 Solutions
    • Courses available: All courses from 2022 to 2025
    • Data available: Course content and students' activity(grades)
    • Course access can be provided to faculty upon request with COLTT.
  • Local Shared Drive Backups
    • Courses available: All courses from 2018 to 2022
    • Data available: Course content and student activity(grades)
    • Course access can be provided to faculty via Brightspace (Note: only course content can be imported to Brightspace)

Retrieval Options:

  • •  Retrieve student activity and grades - If this option is selected, faculty will receive access to K-16 Solutions to access the requested data.
  • •Need to transfer course content to Brightspace - Please submit a request through our Course Copy Request service form instead. 

Request Form:

Please complete the request form below if you need:

  • Read Only Access to K16 to review course content and files from archived courses.
  • Read Only Access to K16 to retrieve student grades or assignments from archived courses.
