Course Copy Request


What is it?

This form allows faculty to request assistance with transferring course content from one course to another. Faculty can also complete their own course copies at any time, provided they have the necessary access to both courses in Brightspace.

Important Notice: Course Copy Requests must be submitted no later than one week before the official start of the semester. Requests received after the deadline will require the faculty to use the alternative option. Faculty may complete their own course copy at any time. Who is Eligible to use it?

Faculty and staff are eligible to submit this form. In some instances, additional approval may be required.


Steps to Request:

  1. 1. Select the blue Request Service button on this page. 
  2. 2. Enter Requestor information 
  3. 3. Indicate if the course is part of an Accelerated Online Program (AOP) 
  4. 4. Provide Course Source Name (ex. MATH-1301-01-Fall2023) 
  5. 5. Provide Destination Course Name (ex. MATH-1301-01-Fall2024) 
  6. 6. Indicate if you would like a full course copy? 
  7. 7. Indicate if you are the Instructor of Record, Department Chair, Dean, Course Coordinator, or Administrative Assistant for all course sections involved in this request?  
  8. 8. Submit
