Cisco phones work on all main campuses (Brownsville, Edinburg, and Harlingen).
Plug the phone into the network port at the new location. If the phone does not light up or you cannot make or receive calls, submit a service request to have the port activated for telecom use. Provide the following information:
- Phone number assigned to the phone
- New location: building and room
- Label from the network port on the wall (if available)
- 12-character MAC address from the back of the phone.
After submitting the service request, leave the phone plugged into the port at the new location to help with activation (so, it can be done remotely).
Reminder, if you change location, please update your Online Directory information.
