Zoom Information for Students
IMPORTANT: Special Instructions to Sign in to Zoom (available for currently enrolled active students and currently employed faculty/staff)
- Open Zoom application.
- Click Sign In.
- Click Sign In with SSO.
- Enter or leave utrgv in the company domain field.
- Enter your UTRGV email and password.
- Click Launch Zoom if necessary.
Join a meeting without installing the Zoom client
- Go to utrgv.zoom.us.
- Click Join.
- Enter the meeting ID.
- Download the Zoom browser plugin.
- NOTE: The download does not require administrator privileges.
Install Zoom and the Outlook Plugin
UTRGV Computers
- Windows: Search for and launch the Software Center app.
MAC: Search for and launch the Self Service app.
- Search for and click on Zoom Client and Outlook Plugin.
- Click Install.
- Follow all remaining prompts to complete the installation.
Personal Computers
- Go to zoom.us/download.
- Click Download under Zoom Client for Meetings and Microsoft Plugin.
- Open the download files.
