What Is It?

Microsoft Teams facilitates collaboration between UTRGV and various educational institutions and government agencies. To add an outside domain for Teams use, submit a Service Request using the Request Service form on this page. Individual email addresses cannot be added. General publicly-owned domains like Gmail or Outlook.com are not eligible. Approval will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Steps to Request

  1. Title: Provide a concise title that summarizes the nature of the request or issue.
  2. Email of Requestor: Include the email address of the person making the request.
  3. This ensures effective communication and follow-up.
  4. Contact #: Specify a phone number or other contact information for quick communication.
  5. Domains to Be Trusted: List the specific domains that need to be trusted. For example, if you’re configuring email filters, mention domains like utsa.edu, or dir.texas.gov.
  6. Justification: Clearly explain the reasons behind the request. Whether it’s for security, collaboration, or other purposes, provide a brief justification.
