What Is It?

This request serves as the starting point for IT infrastructure and new IT development projects.  For guidance on submitting an Idea/Project Request, review the provided instructions below.

Steps to Request

1. Select the blue Request Service button on this page.
2. Project Name: Choose a descriptive name for your project that reflects its purpose or focus.
3. Business Issue or Problem Statement: Identify the current business issue or problem that your project is designed to resolve. Be concise and specific.
4. Justification: Explain why this project is necessary. Highlight the benefits, impact, or value it brings to the organization. Why do we need to do this project? Please provide information of the anticipated cost of the project, as well as cost savings or cost avoidance that will be achieved per year.
5. Recommendation: Propose a solution or approach to solve the issue or problem. Provide actionable steps or strategies.
6. Anticipated Outcomes: List the specific outcomes that you expect to gain from this project. Describe the expected results or improvements. What positive changes will the project bring?
7. Data Types: List the types of data that will be stored or processed by the system (For example: Credit Card Information, SSN, HIPAA or FERPA protected data, and/or Private Health Information).
8. Desired Start Date: Specify when you’d like the project to begin. Consider any dependencies or constraints.
9. Desired Completion Date: Set a target date for project completion. Be realistic and account for potential delays.
