New Organization Request


What is it?

This form is used to request the creation of a new organization in Brightspace, our Learning Management System (LMS). An organization serves as a dedicated space for accessing documents, sharing resources, and collaborating with other participants in a secure, access-controlled environment. For more information, refer to our Brightspace Organization support article.

Note: Please allow 1-3 business days for this request to be completed.


Who is Eligible to use it?

Faculty and Staff


Steps to Request:

  1. 1. Select the blue Request Service button on this page 
  2. 2. Provide Requestor information 
  3. 3. Provide Organization Name 
  4. 4. Select the Purpose of Organization 
  5. 5. Select a Template 
  6. 6. Indicate if you would like to list the Organization in Brightspace Discover for self-enrollment? 
  7. 7. Indicate Organization Leaders (UTRGV email) 
  8. 8. Attach the list of users that you would like to enroll in this organization and specify their role 
  9. 9. Submit
