IT MANAGED LISTSERVS
IT manages a total of six (6) listserv email distribution lists and updates the subscriber groups daily. The listservs are the following:
- UTRGVStudent (Graduate/Undergraduate)

STUDENT LISTSERVS
- UTRGVStudent (Graduate/Undergraduate)
The UTRGVStudent listserv consists of the graduate and undergraduate student sub lists. The criteria process for this group identifies a student’s active terms as of the time the process is run and any term that will begin within 14 days. The criteria process selects students who are enrolled in any class for any of the identified active terms. Additionally, each list uses the criteria for students with any of the level codes below:
Graduate
- Doctoral, fall 2015
- Masters, fall 2015
- Post Baccalaureate Masters
- Post Baccalaureate Doctoral
- DR Doctoral
- MA Masters
- PD Post Baccalaureate Doctoral
- PM Post Masters
Undergraduate
- Post Baccalaureate Undergraduate
- Undergraduate, fall 2015
- Post Baccalaureate Undergraduate
- Post Masters
- Undergraduate

EMPLOYEE LISTSERVS
The employee listserv includes the UTRGVStaff and UTRGVFaculty sub lists.

The criteria process for the UTRGVFaculty listserv identifies employees labeled as active with an email address that is populated and any of the employee classifications below:
- Regular Faculty
- Non-Tenure Track Faculty
- Non-Standard Semester Faculty
- SOM Faculty
- Labeled as faculty
- UTRGVStaff
The criteria process for the UTRGVStaff listserv identifies employees that are labeled as active with an email address is populated and any of the employee classifications below:
- Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Graduate Research Assistant
- Student
- Medical Resident
- Classified Wages Acct
- A / P Wages Acct
- Work-Study
- Classified or Administrative / Professional
The extraction process for these listservs runs daily at 6:00 a.m.
- Exempt Employees
The criteria process for this group identifies employees with a classification of Classified or Administrative / Professional.

The criteria process for this group identifies all former employees labeled as Retiree.
